Getafe B is the reserve team of the Spanish professional football club, Getafe CF, based in the city of Getafe, located in the Madrid metropolitan area. The team currently plays in the fourth tier of the Spanish football league system, Tercera División RFEF - Group 7.
The team was founded in 1983 and initially played in the lower regional leagues of Madrid. The reserve team primarily serves as a development platform for young players and provides opportunities for players who are not yet ready for first-team football.
Over the years, Getafe B has produced several successful players, who have gone on to play for the senior team and other prominent clubs in Spain. Some of the notable alumni include Dani Parejo, Roberto Soldado, Álvaro Arbeloa, and Pedro León.
The team's home matches are played at the Ciudad Deportiva Juan de la Cierva, which has a capacity of 1,000 spectators. The team's kit colors are green and white, which is different from the senior team's blue and white colors.
